About The Position

As a Enterprise Growth Manager – RIA, you’ll develop, manage, and lead key relationships within the RIA marketplace. You’ll manage American Funds Distributions presence, relationships, and business results with a select cohort of the largest, most-influential RIA firms across the nation. You will also manage some important relationships within our custody partners and develop opportunities and sales with new entrants into the industry. Your role will feature significant travel, both individually and along with distribution partners across Capital Group. You excel at delivering compelling and informative presentations. You have a strategic mindset and the ability to lead efforts with functional partners. You have expert command of the RIA distribution landscape and can manage several projects/initiatives simultaneously. You’re motivated by setting goals and measuring your performance against them. You are a well-rounded collaborator and work skillfully with other Senior Sales Force members to identify opportunity for better investor outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in third-party distribution
  • Broad knowledge of the mutual fund, SMA, ETF, and CIT business and sales cultures
  • Demonstrated ability to build long-term relationships
  • Ability to identify opportunities and strategic themes and a business plan accordingly
  • Proven track record and a deep technical knowledge of portfolio construction
  • Ability to leverage technologies to create custom analysis (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, etc.)
  • Excellent communicator
  • Significant sales experience in the registered investment advisor space
  • Well-versed in synthesizing information and presenting it in a distilled manner
  • One or more of the following designations: Series 7, AIF, AIFA, PPC, CIMA, CFA, and CFP®
