About The Position

Enterprise Director Document Management Department: 10132 Enterprise Corporate - Quality Management and Regulatory Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Education: Master's Degree in public health nursing, healthcare administration, or related field Experience: 5-10 years of progressive experience in quality or healthcare risk management within a complex healthcare setting Pay Range $66.85 - $100.30 Major Responsibilities: Leadership and Collaboration Provide strategic leadership on document management, provide expert guidance on strategy, while mitigating regulatory risks. Lead and mentor a team of document management professionals, policy coordinators, and administrative staff; collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to ensure alignment and integration of document management practices. Report on key performance indicators and improvement initiatives to executive leadership. Policy System Oversight Lead the management and continuous improvement of the organization’s policy management system and related tools; ensure timely review, approval, and dissemination of policies, procedures, and guidelines. Monitor compliance with policy development and maintenance timelines and standards. Regulatory Compliance Ensure all documentation practices meet applicable federal, state, and local healthcare regulations (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS, etc.) and accreditation standards. Coordinate regulatory reviews and readiness assessments related to document and policy management. Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies on document management matters. Tools, Training, and Education Manage the electronic document solution and its related processes, including oversight of access and downtime procedures. Develop and deliver training programs for staff on document management processes, tools, and regulatory requirements while promoting a culture of compliance and continuous improvement through ongoing education and support. Partner with service line leaders to develop and implement enterprise-wide quality strategies. Skilled at building effective partnerships and navigating organizational dynamics to achieve patient safety objectives. Commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and continuous learning. Proficient in project management and continuous improvement methodologies, with a track record of delivering measurable results. Demonstrated emotional intelligence, integrity, and discretion when navigating sensitive topics such as patient harm, regulatory risk, and cultural readiness. Adept at navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities with resilience, sound judgment, and a solutions-oriented mindset. Experience leading teams, mentoring leaders, and driving cross-functional collaboration across multiple levels of an organization. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Requires regular travel across Advocate Health facilities and regions to engage with local leaders, support operational execution, and assess program effectiveness on-site. Operates in both clinical and administrative environments, with occasional exposure to healthcare settings. Responsibilities
