The Enterprise Data Program Manager facilitates the ongoing operation of the Enterprise Data Management Program. Responsibilities include the orchestration of Data Product Management projects and activities as well as support and coordination for the Enterprise Data Governance Council, IT teams, business sponsors, and business stakeholders. This role owns the program-level intake, prioritization, dependency management, release coordination, risk and issue management, and program reporting that enable multiple data products and cross-product initiatives to be planned and delivered. This role also manages processes and activities that support communication, program budget management, and partnerships with third party support. The Enterprise Data Program Manager translates strategic priorities into a sequenced and resource-aware delivery plan, enforces repeatable processes, and elevates program-level decisions to leadership and appropriate corporate governance bodies when required.

  • Partner with the Program Director to operate the Enterprise Data Program.
  • Manage the intake and lifecycle of program initiatives, technology and platform related projects, and large-scale data product development and enhancements within the Enterprise Data Program backlog and roadmap, driving the prioritization cadence and decision support materials.
  • Identify, triage, and manage cross‑product and cross-functional dependencies and defects to resolution.
  • Coordinate planning and communication across delivery teams (Data Product Managers, data engineering teams, infrastructure teams, etc.) and business stakeholders.
  • Track resolution outcomes and escalate high‑impact items.
  • Lead program-level planning, consolidated status reporting, schedule and resource coordination, and enterprise risk/issue and change control.
  • Track team and vendor/contractor capacity, surface bottlenecks, and recommend resource adjustments and phased delivery approaches.
  • Manage and coordinate Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall product and project management activities and documentation to ensure consistent governance, clear handoffs, aligned schedules, and unified reporting.
  • Produce and maintain program communications and governance artifacts including executive summaries, milestone briefings, monthly status reports, stakeholder updates, templates, playbooks, RACI matrices, deployment checklists, and post-implementation review materials.
  • Define and report success metrics and trends to Program Leadership and represent program status, risks, and governance activities in cross-departmental forums or as the Director’s designee when assigned.
  • Support the preparation of agendas, materials, and follow-up actions for the Enterprise Data Governance Council and related working groups.
  • Ensure program activities comply with data governance policies, data quality standards, and regulatory requirements, coordinating remediation where gaps are identified.
  • Own project and program change management and stakeholder engagement plans to promote the adoption of new processes and operating model changes.
  • Maintain and evolve tooling (configuration of ServiceNow SPM and other platforms) to support intake, tracking, reporting, and SLA enforcement.
  • Administer budget tracking and expense oversight for program initiatives.
  • Serve as vendor coordinator for external partners.
  • Execute additional program-related responsibilities as assigned by the Director.
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty (Accounting, Mathematics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or similarly quantitative/analytical degrees).
  • 5+ years of overall professional experience, with 3+ years of experience in program or portfolio management in data, analytics or technology environments.
  • Practical understanding of managing programs or projects related to data platforms, data products, data governance, analytics, and data strategy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to summarize complex concepts
  • Working knowledge with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Applied knowledge of workflows and functionalities within ServiceNow, Jira, or similar work and project management applications.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with ability to visually and verbally convey technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Interpersonal and relationship-building skills – with an ability to influence
  • Ability to run meetings across diverse functions
  • Experience in the credit union or banking industry highly preferred.
  • General understanding of data systems, data structures, and data analysis including artificial intelligence a plus
  • Basic understanding of SQL (Select statements, Joins, and basic queries) and relational database concepts a plus
  • Knowledge of data ingestion and transformation processes and data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake a plus
  • Ability to create reports or dashboards in Tableau, Power BI or other BI tools a plus
  • Project management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, Agile product management certification such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), and/or Program management certification such as Program Management Professional (PgMP) or equivalent.
