Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working on a space, ground, software, or hardware system Major Defense Acquisition Program
  • 1+ years of experience with artificial intelligence applications or Department of Defense cloud system development, including Azure
  • Experience mapping system requirements to physical and functional architecture, conducting configuration management of system configurations, and communicating technical concepts to users, leaders, and engineers
  • Experience with the development of technical specifications, interface control documents, integration plans and schedules, inter-service support agreements, system behavior diagrams, sequence diagrams, and network diagrams
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps and Agile software development
  • Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2
  • Ability to be highly motivated to contribute to the DoD mission
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics field

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Architecture, supporting a space, ground, software, or hardware system, aerospace systems, or Major Defense Acquisition Programs
  • Experience conducting or supporting space system Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), and System Verification Reviews (SVRs)
  • Experience with high complexity data systems and data management
  • Experience performing systems engineering, integration, and testing on space systems
  • Knowledge of the Air Force ISP Guide, JCIDS Manual, CJCSI 5123.01G, DoDI 8330.01, AFMAN 33‐407, and DoDAF
  • Knowledge of DoD 5000.01 or 5000.02, and DoD risk management processes
  • Ability to be self-motivated
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related technical field
  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification
