About The Position

As an ECX Marketing Operations Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience at the intersection of marketing strategy and technology within a Fortune 100 company. You'll support the integration and optimization of marketing tools, contribute to campaign design and automation, and help ensure a seamless customer experience across platforms. This role offers exposure to marketing data analysis, campaign development, and martech infrastructure, with opportunities to learn industry-leading tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Candidates residing within the Chicago, IL area preferred. Gain experience blending technology and business strategy within a Fortune 100 company. The candidate will work with industry leading on-prem and cloud-based marketing tools. Additionally, the candidate will provide innovative solutions, ensuring a seamless customer experience across an array of channels. Marketing Operations (MOPS) is enhancing our capabilities by integrating new tools and functionalities within Allstate's marketing suite along with reimagining the manner we build and design our marketing campaigns. The intern will participate in designing a process to ensure a seamless customer experience irrespective of the tools used within Allstate's marketing suite. Additionally, the candidate will help us reimagine how campaigns are designed, creating reusable processes to simplify and expedite speed to market. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring synchronization of data across all marketing platforms, providing an automated monitoring process to ensure no issues arise. The candidate will also play a key role in assisting Allstate's reimagining of campaign design utilizing strategic segments within Unica Campaign. The candidate must be willing to work with martech infrastructure, campaign management tools and technical groups delivering day to day solutions. There is a light technical component to this job along with executing marketing strategy.

Requirements

  • Be enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university
  • Pursuing a Marketing, Business (or related field) degree
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Have a good, positive attitude
  • Ability to self-manage time
  • Detail oriented
  • Willingness to proactively raise concerns, offering differing viewpoints in a constructive way
  • Eagerness to learn industry leading marketing and reporting tools
  • Outside the box thinker to simplify and automate manual processes
  • General understanding of operational marketing is a plus
