The Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Analyst primary responsibility is to ensure the maintenance of data quality within EAM as the system of records for the Department of Water Management (DWM), strategizing improvement plans for inventory processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy in asset and work order data management. Analyzing data and conducting research to diagnose problems is integral to the role, requiring a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to addressing data-related challenges, leveraging SQL and Business Intelligence (BI) knowledge and tools to navigate and manipulate data effectively. Supporting day-to-day operations, the EAM Analyst is responsible for tasks such as creating, adding, and deactivating users and user groups, as well as adding new fields and creating data spies. The role will also include providing training sessions for DWM and internal EAM users, creating Quick Reference Guides (QRGs), and gathering requirements for reporting. Additionally, an EAM analyst will contribute to system enhancements by creating commodity codes, managing contract and price updates in the system, and actively participating in the continuous improvement of EAM processes. This multifaceted role will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of asset data and supporting the operational efficiency of the EAM system.
