About The Position

The Enterprise Architect will work with a team to provide high-quality service to our customers and participate in high-level enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development. The Enterprise Architect will have a deep understanding of DoD business transformation and processes, DoD organizational structure, and experience in developing briefings and responses to executives within the organization. This role requires extensive knowledge of and hands-on experience with the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and the Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA). The Enterprise Architect will lead the development and documentation of the enterprise’s business processes and portfolio system integration. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5–9 years of experience in enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, development, and integration, or related activities
  • Extensive understanding of DoDAF and all viewpoints, DoD and Air Force enterprise architecture policy, guidance, and reference models
  • Experience developing taxonomy, terms and definitions, and controlled vocabularies
  • Experience developing data reference models
  • Active DoD Secret clearance is required

  • Experience supporting DoD business transformation initiatives
  • Experience briefing senior executives and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with portfolio management and system integration within DoD environments

Responsibilities

  • Present solutions to various levels of management and work across different groups
  • Perform limited project management activities to implement proposed solutions
  • Support data architecture and data modeling efforts
  • Provide general Subject Matter Expert (SME) support, Enterprise Architecture (EA) Configuration Management, and system support for the portfolio
  • Develop and maintain EA artifacts to support portfolio management
  • Follow all EA policies, laws, and regulations in development activities
  • Support analysis of proposed system changes and modernization approaches to determine enterprise-level impacts to the portfolio
  • Maintain configuration control of the enterprise architecture
