Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Completion of an accredited Otolaryngology residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology
- Active medical license and ability to credential at the facility
- Proficiency in airway management, including: Tracheostomy placement, changes, and ongoing maintenance
- Experience caring for tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent patients
- Experience may include hands-on practice, simulation, or supervised/observational training
- Strong clinical judgment and focus on patient safety in a long-term or specialty care environment
