About The Position

The Enrollment and Family Partnership Specialist drives the growth and sustainability of the school by leading student recruitment and enrollment efforts while fostering strong family partnerships. As a front-facing representative of the school, this role ensures that every family feels welcomed, supported, and well-informed throughout the enrollment process and beyond. By building relationships in the community and collaborating with school teams, the Enrollment and Family Partnership Specialist supports student recruitment, family retention, and ongoing engagement in alignment with the school’s mission.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree (or equivalent college credits), or higher.
  • Language skills in Karenni, Karen, or Spanish required.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience working in a fast-paced office or educational environment, working with students, parents, and the community.
  • Experience in executing complex project logistics with a track record of strong results.
  • Strong attention to detail and desire to provide high-quality service.
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
  • Expert-level written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative and skills in the following areas: relationship and community building, stakeholder engagement, cultural competence, communication, conflict resolution, creativity, problem-solving, decision-making, and time management.
  • Excellent organization skills and consistency in meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and experience in effectively solving challenging problems through a positive, collaborative approach.
  • Entrepreneurial outlook and commitment to Prodeo Academy’s mission.
  • Familiarity with digital media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Experience with database management and comfort with Office Suite or Google App Suite.
  • Ability to stand and move around the classroom for extended periods.
  • Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 10 lbs (e.g., instructional materials, student supports).
  • Ability to support students physically as needed, which may include kneeling, bending, or assisting with mobility.
  • Ability to engage in crisis intervention or student safety procedures when necessary.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Aids all outreach and student recruitment efforts, including grassroots canvassing in local neighborhoods, staffing tables at community events, and researching and engaging with community organizations to drive recruitment.
  • Supports logistics and executes enrollment events, such as in-person and virtual tours, open houses, and enrollment days.
  • Works closely with the Recruitment, Enrollment, and Family Partnership team to ensure quality customer service for incoming and current families regarding the registration process, intent to return, and family engagement events.
  • Supports enrollment efforts by calling interested families and assisting families with the enrollment process.
  • Tracks and maintains student recruitment and enrollment data to drive strategy.
  • Assists with parent and staff communication to support recruitment, attendance, and retention efforts.
  • Facilitates family engagement initiatives on campus, including the Family Ambassador Program and parent-teacher groups.
  • Provides a welcoming environment for our families and visitors.
  • Helps coordinate family engagement events, including but not limited to orientation, Pre-K night, parent-teacher conferences, and more.
  • Ensures safety of students at all times.
  • Maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance, which is an essential function of the role.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the school and organization.
