About The Position

Our Enrichment Specialist/Aide enriches the lives of residents by creating meaningful and engaging activities while providing compassionate care that nurtures their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The Enrichment Specialist/Aide primary focus is to support and enhance the quality of day-to-day life of our residents. This role uniquely blends enriching activities and daily direct care to support quality of life in areas of mind, body and spirit. This position will primarily focus on resident life enrichment, but will also assist with transfers, personal care, and other support tasks as part of the daily activity programs.

Requirements

At least grade school education, prefer high school diploma or GED.
Must complete a State of Minnesota approved Nursing Assistant Program Test Out in compliance with the Minnesota Statute 144A.61 subdivision b within 4 months of hire.
CPR certification
Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

Experience in geriatrics desirable.
Computer knowledge.

Ability to organize, coordinate and prioritize tasks.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers both verbally and in writing.
Maintains therapeutic boundaries with patients.
