Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related discipline; plus, 1-3 years directly applicable or 3-5 years related experience in education, communications or counseling
• Required Field of Expertise: Education or related field
• Knowledge in learning concepts, educational theory, and psycho-educational assessments
• Strong interpersonal, administrative/organizational, and computer skills
• Aptitude for educational technology

Nice To Haves

• Master’s Degree in Education or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support and educational counseling to students who are advanced program participants and track their academic progress, work with relevant others in the recruitment process for these students
• Provide individual educational counseling to students addressing areas such as test-taking strategies, time-management, reading comprehension strategies, note-taking techniques, and study skills
• Provide workshops for students addressing topic areas such as test-taking strategies, time-management, reading comprehension strategies, note-taking techniques, and study skills
• Additional duties, as assigned
