The ideal candidate will have expertise in any one of a multitude of skills including: robotics / engineering art / photography science tutoring As an Enrichment Instructor, you will inspire creativity, foster artistic growth, and create a supportive learning environment for Parent/Child classes, Preschool, School Age, Teen and Adult Enrichment classes.

Requirements

• A Degree in STEM, Early Education, Recreation or related field is preferred, but we will entertain candidates with a personal passion or hobby in their preferred art form.
• Previous experience teaching , preferably in a formal educational setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students of all ages and backgrounds.
• Creativity, innovation, and a genuine passion for inspiring creativity and self-expression through art.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of diverse learners and accommodate changes in schedule or curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and instructional materials for various art forms.
• Deliver high-quality instruction tailored to the needs and skill levels of diverse students.
• Provide hands-on guidance, demonstrations, and feedback to help students develop their artistic abilities.
• Manage classroom dynamics and maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and critiques, and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
• Engage with the local community and promote art education through exhibitions, showcases, and community events.
