About The Position
After School Instructors Needed – Share Your Skills with Youth If you have a special skill or talent AND you would like to teach students (all grades available) in your area, Arc has a great opportunity that offers flexibility, consistency, and a great rate. We also offer training on classroom management or instructing students if you need it. We’re committed to YOUR success. Arc has been an after-school enrichment provider for over 20 years and we have turnkey curriculums for you to use. We offer training to get you ready for the classroom, as well as ongoing support to ensure you succeed in this role. This is a great opportunity for school-year teachers, coaches, or even amateurs with passion who are looking to make extra income after school or through the summer. We have a high need in these popular subject areas: Cooking and Baking (Turn your hobby into a paid gig!) Sports/Fitness (Stay in shape and teach kids healthy habits!) Arts (Teach as your creative outlet for dance, music, or drama!) Our mission and values: We create transformational learning opportunities that empower youth to reach their full potential. Requirements
- Able to commit to three to five days of work, approximately 3:00 - 6:00.
- 48+ College Units completed or Pass on Academic Proficiency Exam
- TB Test Clearance & Live Scan Clearance (Background check)
Nice To Haves
- Experience with youth in an educational setting preferred but not required.
- Have experience in one of the popular subject areas (but we also want to hear what other topics you may be able to teach)
- Have experience in an after-school program
- Are a teacher already looking for extra hours
- Have a passion for teaching kids and creating a fun learning atmosphere (again, you’ll learn from OUR passion and training)
