About The Position

Is it your passion to help others, especially aging adults? If so, we have a great opportunity for you. Join our team of dedicated, compassionate employees as the full-time Enhanced Living Concierge. You will provide concierge services (non-medical) for residents living in the enhanced living wing at our beautiful campus. Hours are Monday - Friday, 1st shift with occasional nights and weekends. Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • At least 2 years' work experience and working with the elderly population.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly, politely and professionally with Residents, staff and members of the local community.
  • Must maintain a valid Driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Able to read normal print (with or without corrective lenses).
  • Must be agile, efficient, able to physically assist Residents, comfortable pushing and pulling Residents in a wheelchair and able to balance, climb, crouch, pull, push, reach, stand for long periods of time, stoop, lift 40 pounds, and perform repetitive movements.
  • Able to follow instructions, give attention to detail and work well with others.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Will be exposed to inside and outside environmental conditions, as well as chemical and respiratory hazards.
  • Individual may be exposed to Bloodborne Pathogens in transporting laboratory specimens.

Responsibilities

  • Implements and oversees the services for the enhanced living wing including but not limited to services, budget, and planning.
  • Develops and fosters a positive, personal relationship with residents and their families while providing and arranging support as the need arises.
  • Encourages residents' active involvement in the life of the community.
  • Plans and implements activities and special events.
  • Assists with scheduling appointments, ordering meals and deliveries, providing daily reminders.
  • Assists residents and their families during the process of transitioning levels of care.
  • Assists with resident moves which includes communicating with appropriate staff and departments, planning furniture layout., scheduling packing, moving day, and unpacking days.
  • Provides transportation using the company vehicles for activities and medical appointments, when needed.
  • Creates an environment of pride and quality among all staff.
  • Champions the mission, vision, and core values of the community.
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
