Engr lll-Sr. Planner/Analyst-Hybrid
About The Position
Rohadfox Construction Management is seeking several Engineer lll-Sr Planner/Analysts for our client located in West Los Angeles, CA. Under direction of LAWA’s Planning & Design Division’s (PDD) Operational Planning Section, supports LAWA’s operational business units in documenting, analyzing, and recommending solutions/improvements to current and future operational challenges within the organization. Serves as a technical resource within an airport/aviation planning area – Landside, Terminal, or Airside. Conducts and manages technical studies, data analysis, and simulation of airport business/operations. Normal hours are 8am-5pm Mon-Friday unless otherwise requested. Hourly range rate is $$99.63-$102.95
Requirements
- 10 years minimum of experience in airport planning, operations, simulation, and data analysis; preferably on airport projects
- Proficient with MS Office and MS 365 products
- Experience in CAST or aircraft gate/stand allocation
- Experience with Simio or processing/flow simulation software
- Licensed Engineer (preferably by CA Board of Engineers) is required. For structural engineers, SE is preferred. For geotechnical engineers GE is preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Engineering
- Must live within commuting range of airport
Nice To Haves
- Preferred experience with data and statistical software such as Python, R, SAS, etc.
- Preferred experience with analytical software such as Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, GIS
- Preferred experience with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, GIS, etc.
- Degree in industrial engineering, civil engineering, transportation planning, city/urban planning, architecture, aviation, business, operations research, or related technical field
- Optional Certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PMP, etc., and/or any other relevant Professional Licensure or Certification
Responsibilities
- Supports LAWA’s operational business units in documenting, analyzing, and recommending solutions/improvements to current and future operational challenges within the organization.
- Serves as a technical resource within an airport/aviation planning area – Landside, Terminal, or Airside.
- Conducts and manages technical studies, data analysis, and simulation of airport business/operations.
- May assume other duties as required/needed
- Maybe required to work beyond regular shift hours as needed
- Maybe required to work various shifts as needed
