English Temporary Pool
About The Position
Commonwealth University’s Department of English seeks qualified candidates for temporary faculty positions (one semester or part-time academic year) as needs arise. Needs may include college composition, developmental writing, linguistics, literature, and professional writing courses. Applicants with a background in those areas should also forward those credentials. Duties Past experience with online teaching and willingness to teach online are required. Commonwealth University has campuses in Bloomsburg, Clearfield, Lock Haven, and Mansfield PA. Candidates’ modality and location preferences will be taken into account when offering sections. This hiring pool lasts until 2026 and you may be contacted at any point until the pool expires. Finalist(s) for these positions must communicate well and successfully complete an interview process as judged by the department faculty.
