About The Position
The English Teacher position at Swanson for the T26/27 fiscal year involves implementing instructional programs tailored to students' needs, interests, and abilities using appropriate materials. The role requires maintaining a safe and orderly classroom environment, communicating effectively with parents/guardians, and accurately maintaining student records. Collaboration with school administrators, other teachers, instructional assistants, parents, and community members is essential. Requirements
- Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure in English.
- Teaching experience in English.
- Knowledge of best instructional practices.
- Ability to integrate technology.
- Experience in educational and instructional leadership.

- Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area.
