About The Position

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring an English Language Teacher to provide in-person, customized lessons to our clients in Fishers, IN. C195634 Job Information: Individual class for a lady Availability: Saturday and Sunday, 12 pm-4 pm (Eastern Time) Lesson Location: Fishers, IN 46038 (near Thomas A. Weaver Municipal Complex on 1 Municipal Dr) Preferred start date: ASAP Lesson Frequency: 2x a week Lesson Duration: 1 hour Current target language level: High intermediate Language spoken at home: Korean Student’s language needs and goals: She would like her lessons to focus on the following topics: - Listening comprehension strategies to better understand native speakers - Common everyday expressions used by native speakers - Practice with real-life conversations, including how to be polite and how to give compliments appropriately in U.S. culture - Parenting in the United States, including school-related communication - Business culture and business language, with emphasis on presentation skills and interview preparation Class Structure: She prefers structured lessons guided by a clear lesson plan. She would like the teacher to briefly explain the plan at the start or end of each class, so she knows what to expect and how each lesson connects to her goals.

Requirements

To have native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
To have a degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or a related field
To have a minimum of two years of ESL teaching experience
