About The Position
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student co-op to join the Electronics Test Lab team at Rehlko. The candidate will play a key role in developing and supporting a new testing system for our genset controllers. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic engineering environment. This role is located onsite in Sheboygan WI.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Experience in designing and wiring circuits
- Basic programming experience in languages such as C, Python MATLAB/Simulink, PLC programming
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of a new test system for genset controllers, ensuring compliance with company specifications and industry standards
- Collaborate with test engineers to design and implement testing procedures
- Support the testing of new products and enhancements by diagnosing and troubleshooting issues in hardware, firmware, and software
- Develop and maintain documentation for test procedures, including setup instructions and test reports
- Participate in the design and build of additional test systems as needed
- Conduct data analysis and present test findings to the engineering teams
- Assist in maintaining a clean lab environment, including organization of tools and equipment
