About The Position

Under direct supervision, the position is responsible for utilizing problem solving and quantitative methods to provide engineering solutions in various areas of the organization through well-defined projects while participating in a rotational program.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Management, or related field, or suitable combination of education, experience and training
• This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Preference will be given to applicants who will have recently completed Industrial Engineering courses through an accredited four-year institution along with prior Logistics Engineer Internship experience at J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc.

Responsibilities

• Acquires understanding of the organization's processes and systems to improve efficiency.
• Gains awareness and knowledge of quantitative methods, computer programming, optimization, or solution design to support data analysis.
• Solves problems related to process improvement by analyzing internal and external data, including operations, pricing, financial, and customer information.
• Presents findings and solutions under supervision to business partners and/or customers.
