About The Position

The Engineering Technologist is responsible for coordinating and planning work activities between laboratory test groups and site craft personnel at the site near Niskayuna, NY. Requirements

  • Must have active DOE L clearance or DoD secret clearance to be considered.
  • Must have at least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience maintaining a Process Coolant Water (PCW) system
  • Experience working with vertical storage systems, including scheduled maintenance
  • Proven ability to coordinate schedules and implement mechanical and electrical tasks

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of performing Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147
  • Ability to work effectively in highly constrained or complex work environments

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and plan work activities between lab test groups and site craft teams
  • Define work scope and develop schedules for facility operations supporting individual lab test facilities
  • Integrate lab facility plans with broader site infrastructure and maintenance activities
  • Support continuous operation and readiness of test facilities to meet project requirements
  • Receive and coordinate deliveries to laboratory facilities
  • Execute procurements related to facility operations and maintenance
  • Perform routine building and facility inspections to ensure compliance and operational integrity
