About The Position

The Engineering Technologist is responsible for coordinating and planning work activities between laboratory test groups and site craft personnel at the site near Niskayuna, NY. This role ensures test facilities remain fully operational, properly maintained, and aligned with project and infrastructure needs. The position requires strong scheduling, coordination, and facilities support experience in a technically complex environment.

Requirements

Must have active DOE L clearance or DoD secret clearance to be considered.
Must have at least 10 years of relevant experience.
Experience maintaining a Process Coolant Water (PCW) system
Experience working with vertical storage systems, including scheduled maintenance
Proven ability to coordinate schedules and implement mechanical and electrical tasks

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of performing Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147
Ability to work effectively in highly constrained or complex work environments

Responsibilities

Coordinate and plan work activities between lab test groups and site craft teams
Define work scope and develop schedules for facility operations supporting individual lab test facilities
Integrate lab facility plans with broader site infrastructure and maintenance activities
Support continuous operation and readiness of test facilities to meet project requirements
Receive and coordinate deliveries to laboratory facilities
Execute procurements related to facility operations and maintenance
Perform routine building and facility inspections to ensure compliance and operational integrity
