Turbine and Generator Services' (TGS) vision is to Optimize the reliability and cost of Regulated Renewable Energy's (RRE) centerline assets through data-driven technical solutions, collaboration and oversite. This is the third level of the non-Engineer degreed technical support role job classification. Engineering Technologist III provide technical expertise to solve more complex problems and leadership skills to provide oversight and direction of work in a specific area of expertise, with limited supervision. Incumbents are expected to develop advanced skills and the ability to work with a high degree of independence. This position is eligible for Exempt Supplemental Compensation for applicable project support, and it will be applied in accordance with Duke Energy Compensation Policies.

Requirements

Associates Degree in Engineering Technology
minimum 5 years related experience
In Lieu of Associates Degree and 5 years related experience, HS Diploma / GED and minimum of 9 years related work experience.
Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Either 3+ years of relevant industry experience coupled with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology (or equivalent), or 5+ years of experience and Associate Degree in Engineering Technology (or equivalent), or 9+ years equivalent experience without a degree.
