About The Position

Assisting in the fabrication and integration of C4ISR system cabling to be installed into multiple variants of ship vessels (Navy & MSC) to include: CVN, LHA, LPD, TAO, TATS class ships Assisting technical staff members in the fabrication, integration, testing, operation, maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical circuits Assembling RF, Fiber, network, serial, MIL-spec, and power connector and cable assemblies according to cable run sheets, parts lists, assembly instructions/procedures, and assembly drawings Performing on-site installation of equipment and products in the continental United States within various environments to include Naval Bases and privately owned shipyards #LI-SF1

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • 0-2 years of work experience
  • Must be able to perform daily assigned tasks with direct supervision
  • Must be able to perform basic computer tasks and use applications to include but not limited to: Outlook (emails), Adobe Reader (documents & drawings), WTE (daily electronic timekeeping), etc.
  • Read and interpret drawings: physical copies or digital
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
  • SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
  • 50-75% yearly (as needed)

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of multiple standards such as: IPC-620, Mil-STD-2003-5B
