About The Position

CACI is actively seeking a Senior Engineering Technician for the AEGIS Weapon System to act as a subject matter expert in support of Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Corona. The subject matter expert will provide expertise in support of Naval weapons systems.

Requirements

Must have US Navy CIWS experience.
5+ years of relevant experience as a Navy Fire Controlman.
Strong proficiency in electronics design, testing, and analysis.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various levels.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to obtain a DoD SECRET Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Select and adapt plans, techniques, designs, or layouts
Validation of source data prior to loading into Material Readiness Assessment (MRA) databases.
Reviewing Fleet Failure data for accuracy and relevancy.
Contact personnel in related activities to resolve problems and coordinate work.
Review, analyze, and integrate the technical work of others.
Conduct Data validation and analyze results.
Report results and prepare layouts, detailed specifications, parts lists, estimates, procedures, etc.
Analyze technical data to determine applicability to design problems.
Calculate design data and prepare necessary documentation.
