Engineering Technician
About The Position
At Oura, we’re on a mission to empower people to improve their health through insight and daily awareness.We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Technician to join our team and provide essential support across the product development lifecycle. You will work closely with our engineers to build and modify prototypes, create specialized tools and fixtures for testing and analysis, and assist in validating that all products meet stringent engineering specifications. A key component of this role involves assisting in the crucial failure analysis of products currently in the market, directly contributing to continuous improvement and future product reliability.
Requirements
- ME and EE CAD Experience
- Solder and pcba reworking skills
- Electronics debugging and failure analysis
- Component, Tool and hardware fabrication and manufacturing
- Strong communication skills, knowledge of Microsoft and g-suite software
- Over 10 years of experience in the Consumer Electronics business
- AS in Electronics Technology or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Create, build and repair prototypes and products
- In cooperation with engineers, analyze failures and determine root cause
- Create mechanical and or electrical CAD for prototypes and tools
