About The Position
Engineering Technician Job Description Responsible for the repair, installation, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Troubleshoot any issues that may arise throughout the facilities. Follow all LOTO procedures and safety policies required for work. Must be able to read and interpret drawing plans for proposed equipment fabrication. Install and maintain industrial equipment such as pumps, motors, and valves. Must be multifaceted in abilities to complete required work Be able to work in conjunction with the maintenance staff to maintain the operations of the facility. Work with engineers to resolve complex problems. Able to function in a team environment Level 1 Works with minimal supervision on project assignments Fitting and assembling skills of hosing and conduit Beginning level skills in select field (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, or plc) Able to interpret drawings to help diagnose issues
