Plans, conducts, and may supervise research, development, or installation of products and systems in conformance with engineering design and customer specification. Participates on project teams and provides guidance to technical staff. Requires specialized skills or is multi-skilled developed through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience. Completes work with a limited degree of supervision. Likely to act as an informal resource for associates with less experience. Explains job specific information. Typically requires a High School Diploma and 3 or more years of relevant experience. KMS is seeking an Engineering Technician III/IV experienced in underwater acoustics and Towed Arrays to work with a team of Engineers and Technicians across a portfolio of engineering services. Candidate will also engage with Senior Engineers for design reviews, troubleshooting, and implementing technical solutions associated with US Navy related acoustics systems.
