About The Position

The Project Engineering Technician I is responsible for supporting project engineering in the development and validation of new products and processes at Micro. The Project Engineering Technician I is expected to: · Create accurate production and validation documents to ensure successful transition · Complete assigned tasks in a specified time

Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent or at least two years’ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Blueprint reading

Responsibilities

  • Assists in monitoring progress and performance against the project plans and takes action to resolve problems and minimizes delays.
  • Supports the validation activities for new tools and processes and compiles validation packages from suppliers or to customers for new parts, design modifications and process changes.
  • Works with operations and engineering to support the transfer of new programs to production
  • Supports in placing purchase requisitions, monitoring and expediting receipt of ordered items.
  • Supports with inventory management and control, facilitation of manufacturing shop orders and shipment of product
  • Aids in developing process documentation, including material and process specifications, process flows, PFMEA’s, process control plans, operational work instructions, and preventative maintenance plans
  • Conducts validations, including the writing, executing and evaluating results for CRR’s, IQ’s, OQ’s, and PQ’s
  • Conducts engineering studies and analyzes data, utilizing DOE’s, SPC, and other quality tools to fulfill customer requirements and manufacturing initiatives
  • Use inspection equipment to measure parts for production validation and gage development
  • Applies GD&T and measurement techniques to review and interpret part print design, quality and intention.
