About The Position

Supply Chain Management Inc.1.com (SCMI1), http://www.scmi1.com, has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Technician VI with an Electronics specialization supporting the United States Navy, Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC) in Mayport, FL. General Experience: A minimum of three years of “journeyman level” experience within the last five years in each area (1) through (4) below: (1) Independently or leading a team of technicians troubleshooting, repairing or testing U.S. Navy ship structural, mechanical or electrical equipment/systems. (2) Independently or leading a team accomplishing formal material condition assessments (Ex. TSRA, ICMP, INSURV or similar) of U.S. Navy ship’s systems. (3) Communicating the findings of the above troubleshooting/assessments with official reports. (4) Documented experience with the following, or similar, workload databases: Microsoft Office products, Navy Maintenance Database (NMD), Electronic Departure From Specifications (eDFS), Navy Ship’s Engineering Drawing Repository (NSEDR) and TAAS-Info. Specific Experience: The experience required is a combination of mechanical, electronic and electrical disciplines, but is primarily electronic in nature. (1) Assessment and oversight of repair of U.S. Navy ships’ propulsion control systems. (2) Interpreting naval engineering drawings and electrical diagrams. Requirements
