Our team in the SDG Space Sector’s Actuation and Avionics Business Unit is looking for an Engineering Technician for the Electrical Process Engineering Group to provide engineering leadership to our team. 2nd shift 3:00-11:00. You will report directly to the Senior Process Engineering Manager.

Requirements

  • Experience in circuit card, cable or electronic box build manufacturing.
  • Associate’s Degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering preferred) with 2+ years of relevant technical experience.
  • 4+ years of relevant technical experience will be considered in place of education requirement.
  • Ability to work onsite in East Aurora, NY (remote candidates will not be considered).

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical Process Engineering experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and individually to complete tasks and projects.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of Moog systems, including Teamcenter, iWI-N, TipQA

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Engineers and operations to maintain product velocity.
  • Author, edit, and maintain product specific and process work instructions.
  • Investigate and disposition e-HR anomalies.
  • Assist engineering with experiments, qualifications, and investigations.
  • Provide standardized work instructions and preventative maintenance plans for equipment.
  • Any other tasks that may be needed to ensure product quality and integrity.
