About The Position

Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Assists in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, operating or repair manuals, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. May work with complex machines or computer systems. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.

Requirements

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
Ability to obtain US Government security clearance

Responsibilities

Responsible for running machinery / equipment to support multiple programs.
Willing to work 4/10 Schedule and overtime as needed.
Able to identify problems and provide solutions to engineering as well as improvements.
Work directly with engineering seeking opportunities.
Clean, set up, and prepare equipment prior to running product.
Perform lab support work as instrument calibration, lab cleaning, inventory, and material handling.
Expert using hand tools including but not limited to screw drivers, torque wrenches, soldering equipment, and epoxy dispensing tools.
Able to lift or move product 60lbs to 80lbs.
Works under limited supervision.
Utilize Microsoft office.
Consistently lead in team meetings with a positive attitude.
