Business Development Operations Intern (Palm Bay, FL)
About The Position
Position reports directly to the Senior Manager of Business Intelligence, Space and Missions Systems (SMS) Business Development Operations. Support Segment reporting and reviews (e.g., Quarterly Priority Pursuit Reviews, business development data quality reports, upcoming proposal analysis, segment metric reporting, etc.) Analyze and report on opportunity pipeline and gate reviews: Track, review, and assess pipeline opportunities to ensure the Common Capture Process (CCP) is implemented and appropriate progress is maintained for each opportunity Work with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to provide orders reports and track against AOP plans Identify business process efficiencies that can be gained from use of AI tools Complete ad-hoc projects and reporting assigned
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in technical discipline (Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, etc.), Business Administration, Management, or related
Nice To Haves
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills highly desired
- MS-Excel, MS- PowerPoint skills
- Some knowledge of MS-Power BI and/or MS-SharePoint
- MS-Power Apps and/or MS-Power Automate skills would be a bonus
- Results-oriented, take-the-initiative mentality
- Demonstrates a highly analytical work ethic/approach
- Fast learner with the ability to take initial direction and self-manage to complete assignments on time and to expectations
- Highly collaborative team player
- Pragmatic with a strong analytical and problem-solving ability. Ability to devise logical methods/approaches
- Strong project management skills, including demonstrated ability to think end-to-end and manage multiple priorities/projects simultaneously
Responsibilities
