About The Position

Under moderate/general supervision, develop plan and profiles required for the construction of new Oncor distribution facilities. Archive and maintain drawings for various projects. This role will be required to report on-site 5 days a week.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent with 3 plus years of related work experience is required.
  • In lieu of above criteria, applicants with an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as Engineering or Engineering technology AND 1 plus year of related work experience will be considered.
  • Working knowledge of Microstation, AutoCAD and Microsoft systems.
  • Required to learn requirements of various permitting entities in the Oncor's service area.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Oncor designers with the design of distribution facilities.
  • Communicate with other work groups to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Handle concurrent projects while maintaining a reliable product.
  • Observes personnel and public safety as a priority in the design and operations of system projects.
  • Support and maintain project archive through SharePoint, share drive and other systems as required.
  • Support and maintain network feeder maps.
  • Respond to Internal and External requests for archived project information.
  • Be able and available to assist in storm restoration efforts.
