About The Position

Under moderate/general supervision, develop plan and profiles required for the construction of new Oncor distribution facilities. Archive and maintain drawings for various projects. This role will be required to report on-site 5 days a week.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent with 3 plus years of related work experience is required.
In lieu of above criteria, applicants with an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as Engineering or Engineering technology AND 1 plus year of related work experience will be considered.
Required to learn requirements of various permitting entities in the Oncor's service area.
Working knowledge of Microstation, AutoCAD and Microsoft systems.

Responsibilities

Assist Oncor designers with the design of distribution facilities.
Communicate with other work groups to ensure customer expectations are met.
Handle concurrent projects while maintaining a reliable product.
Observes personnel and public safety as a priority in the design and operations of system projects.
Support and maintain project archive through SharePoint, share drive and other systems as required.
Support and maintain network feeder maps.
Respond to Internal and External requests for archived project information.
Be able and available to assist in storm restoration efforts.
