And we need your help to get us there! We are seeking a talented engineering leader to play a pivotal role in the engineering operations of Lalamove US. As a Team Lead, you will oversee the end-to-end engineering operations support and development activities for the Lalamove US market. Your success in this role will depend on your close collaboration with various Engineering teams, local operations, product managers, and infrastructure teams. You are also expected to be hands-on in this leadership role. You will lead the local US engineering team, including external consultants, to provide comprehensive technical support for our US operations and contribute to application and monitoring functionality development. This position requires alignment with the Engineering team at HQ for resource planning, task management, and execution. A hands-on approach to solving technical issues related to the US data center and operations is essential.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in leading and mentoring an engineering team.
  • Strong hands-on background in engineering and operational support.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior management, local operations, and product management to ensure alignment with technical vision and smooth operational support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Preference to have CISM certificate or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a highly efficient US team to deliver end-to-end technical support for US operations.
  • Develop and nurture a diverse team that aligns with local business needs and the HQ engineering roadmap.
  • Manage team resources and personnel, including:
  • Optimizing resource planning and allocation.
  • Coaching, mentoring, motivating, and supervising team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and self-organizing work environment.
  • Work closely with Senior Management, local operations, and product management to anticipate operational support and capacity requirements.
  • Promote a culture of high quality and performance.
  • Drive continuous process improvements.
  • Ensure our tech operations, data management and access compliant to the local regulations.
