As an Engineering Team Lead at Alpine, you will guide a talented group of component engineers and designers who help shape the structures of homes built across North America. This role offers the opportunity to blend technical expertise, people leadership, customer engagement, and product influence. You will set direction for your team, coordinate and prioritize incoming work, and ensure customer expectations are exceeded through accurate, timely, high‑quality engineering. You’ll also mentor and develop engineers, elevate standards of execution, and collaborate directly with Alpine’s software development group to improve the tools used by thousands of truss professionals every day. Requirements

B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field emphasizing statics and material mechanics.
Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience; Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification required.
Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with design software tools.
Ability to travel up to 10%.

Nice To Haves

experience with truss engineering, component design, or drafting for building components.
Working knowledge of TPI, NDS, ASCE‑7, and other applicable codes and design standards a plus.
