About The Position

The Lab and Water Engineering (LAW) Support Section is looking for new team members at the Printed Circuit Board Factory at the Schwartz Campus in Moscow, Idaho. This position is on third shift, Monday through Friday from 10:00 PM until 6:30 AM. Our team's primary responsibility is to ensure the quality and consistency of the boards manufactured at this state-of-the-art facility. There are multiple roles within the LAW, ranging from detailed cross-section analysis and chemical bath analysis to water recycling operations. We are looking for a team member who can work well with a small team in a fast-paced environment, is proficient in technical tasks, and is passionate about quality. As an Engineering Support Specialist, a typical day might include the following: Complete physical testing and cross-sectional analysis of PCBs in accordance with defined procedures under the direction of more experienced staff. Conduct titration, ultraviolet-visible (UV-VIS) spectrum analysis, cyclic voltametric stripping (CVS) analysis, and inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy analysis of chemical wet lines in accordance with defined procedures under the direction of more experienced staff. Learn and follow department processes while communicating opportunities for improvement to documentation or work instructions. Provide status updates to SEL staff and customers. Communicates effectively with team, internal partners, and customers.

Requirements

  • The ability to efficiently operate Windows and MS Office
  • Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills

  • The ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • 1 to 2 years experience in an engineer support role
