Credence has an immediate need for an Engineering Support Manager who will be primarily responsible for supporting the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance / Special Operation Forces (ISR/SOF) Directorate at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH. The Air Force Program Executive Officer (PEO) for Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) and Special Operations Forces (SOF) (AFPEO/WI) has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility for equipping our war-fighters to win the fight.

Requirements

Must have at least an active secret clearance
Master’s or Doctoral Degree in a related field and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, at least five (5) of which must be in the DoD
OR, Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) of which must be in the DoD
OR, a minimum of fifteen (15) years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight (8) of which must be in the DoD

Responsibilities

Translate FMS user requirements into system requirements. These requirements will be used by the weapon system contractor to design, develop, fabricate, test, and evaluate systems, subsystems, and equipment for deployment.
Assist in performing technical/mission analyses of operational requirements, assist in developing system concepts, and perform technological/trade-off study assessments of proposed designs.
Assist with the processes for drafting project documentation. This includes Statements of Objectives (SOOs), Statements of Work (SOWs), program plans, schedules, and presentations.
Assist in reviewing and analyzing technical proposals or modifications for cost, design feasibility, and system compatibility.
Provide rapid response engineering service and support as augmentation to organic resources. This includes in-depth problem identification, impact assessment, and development of corrective actions for critical supportability problems.
Assist in reviewing Contractor documents and data and providing comments.
Assist test teams in developing test requirements and reviewing test plans.
Assist in supporting and conducting engineering performance, effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, cost-performance, life-cycle cost, producibility, maintainability, supportability, reliability, technical/schedule risk assessment, and scheduling trade-off studies.
Assist in evaluating systems test plans (such as systems test plans/test and evaluation master plans) and participate in conducting system, subsystem, and component testing.
Provide systems/subsystems integration support for the acquisition, development, and verification of systems and equipment.
