About The Position

The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of a team of engineers and designers. This role involves managing projects, allocating resources, providing technical guidance, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and evaluating team performance. The supervisor will also collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to develop and implement engineering strategies and initiatives, requiring strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Requirements

• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an Engineering role (design, engineer, or both).
• Minimum 1-5 years of experience in a leadership role.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
• EIT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage work schedules and adapt easily to change.
• Create standards while looking for efficiencies in cost, quality, and delivery.
• Assign tasks and provide performance feedback to team members.
• Conduct on-the-job training for lower-level engineering personnel.
• Direct team members to appropriate sources of information, products, and vendors.
