About The Position

The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the hotel's facilities, equipment, and systems are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with brand and regulatory standards. This role provides leadership and guidance to the engineering team, coordinates preventative maintenance programs, and ensures timely completion of work orders while supporting guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in hotel engineering/maintenance; previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Specialized knowledge and skills or certification within a field or discipline such as plumbing, electrician, carpentry, equipment mechanics, HVAC, refrigeration, etc.
• Trade school and/or college coursework in a related field preferred.
• Experience in a hotel or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for training and the development of staff, including assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting, and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.
• Leads and directs the work of other employees.
• Completes the same tasks as the subordinate employees.
