Engineering Supervisor, Gas Engineering - Maps & Records
About The Position
The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for supervising Jr.-Sr. Designers, clerks and contractors in the preparation of gas layout designs, estimates, project plans and as-built mapping of all gas infrastructure replacements and improvements. The Engineering Supervisor will also be expected to supervise other areas of Gas Engineering including but not limited to; System Reliability, Maps and Records, New Business, Interference, Transmission Projects and Public Improvement as required. The supervisor will understand, interpret and ensure compliance with the gas rate tariff. Additionally, the supervisor will work closely with the Gas Conversions group, Energy Services, developers and external agencies on potential regional growth plans.
Responsibilities
- Supervising Jr.-Sr. Designers, clerks and contractors in the preparation of gas layout designs, estimates, project plans and as-built mapping of all gas infrastructure replacements and improvements.
- Supervise other areas of Gas Engineering including but not limited to; System Reliability, Maps and Records, New Business, Interference, Transmission Projects and Public Improvement as required.
- Understand, interpret and ensure compliance with the gas rate tariff.
- Work closely with the Gas Conversions group, Energy Services, developers and external agencies on potential regional growth plans.
