About The Position

Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking an Engineering Subject Matter Specialist for a potential opportunity. The selected candidate will provide expert support across all phases of software development, with a focus on planning, analysis, modeling, simulation, testing, integration, documentation, and presentations. Requirements

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience.
  • Security Clearance: IT-II or current NACLC (National Agency Check with Local Agency and Credit Check)
  • Sensitivity Level: IT-I Critical Sensitive
  • Clearance: Secret
  • IA Level: IAT-II (i.e. Security + CE)
  • Computing Environment: CCNP, or CCNP-E
  • Performing analysis and providing implementation advice on highly specialized applications and exceptionally complex operational problems.
  • Contributing to all phases of software development, including planning, modeling, simulation, testing, integration, and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Apply technical expertise and perform in-depth analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments.
  • Conduct high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, and documentation.
  • Provide implementation guidance on complex problems requiring advanced subject matter knowledge.
  • Support software development lifecycle activities, including modeling, simulation, testing, and reporting findings.
