Engineering Subject Matter Specialist
About The Position
CompTech is seeking a qualified Engineering Subject Matter Specialist. This position is in support of DLA Network Operations (NetOps) Engineering Support Services Task Order (TO) on which we are bidding. Any offer will be contingent on TO Award. The Engineering Subject Matter Specialist participates in all phases of the software development lifecycle, with particular emphasis on planning, requirements analysis, modeling, simulation, testing, system integration, documentation, and technical presentations. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into effective solutions.
Requirements
- Ten (10) years relevant experience
- Clearance: Secret
- IA Level: IAT II or IAM-II: CompTIA Security+, SSCP, CySA+
- CCNP or CCNP-E
- Security Clearance Requirements: Public Trust
Responsibilities
- Provides advanced technical expertise and analytical support in highly specialized applications and operational environments.
- Conducts high-level functional systems analysis to guide development and decision making.
- Oversees system design, integration, and documentation activities for complex technical initiatives.
- Delivers implementation support and technical guidance for challenges requiring deep subject-matter expertise
