This includes roles such as Field Service Engineers and Technicians, who are expected to have a background in engineering and mechanical systems, as well as experience in industrial maintenance and a basic understanding of industrial control systems. The Engineering Specialist position involves a dynamic and multifaceted role in the assembly, testing, and maintenance of Electro-Mechanical systems. The responsibilities include planning and executing various assembly tasks, focusing on Electro-Mechanical systems, and performing necessary testing and adjustments. The role also requires assisting and guiding customers with the installation, adjustment, and repair of equipment, providing telephone technical support to address and resolve customer inquiries. Training both customer personnel and coworkers on proper equipment operation to ensure efficient and safe usage is also a key responsibility. Additionally, the Engineering Specialist will engage in fundamental control programming and troubleshooting of Electro-Mechanical systems, follow all trade safety practices and procedures, and inspect equipment installations to ensure compliance with company guidelines and tolerances. On-site service at customer locations, including testing, troubleshooting, and adjustments as needed, is a significant part of the job. The position also involves communicating with appropriate company employees about product issues to expedite problem resolution and completing all required customer and company records and documentation. Continuous learning is essential to maintain technical competence and stay up to date on industry developments.
