About The Position

Drives initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Engineering function and interfaces with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination. Impacts departmental operations material ordering and shipping/ receiving responsibilities. This role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering operations
• This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).

Responsibilities

• Process tracking, metrics tracking.
• Responsible for material ordering and various other program support needs
• Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline.
• Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
• In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
• In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance.
• Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks.
• Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems.
• May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
• Coordinates schedules and works with multiple teams across various levels to achieve on time delivery.
