This hands-on role requires a deep understanding of painting techniques, surface preparation, and materials to maintain a high standard of appearance across all hotel areas. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, responsive to maintenance and guest needs, and able to handle a wide range of responsibilities—from precision touch-ups to full-scale refinishing projects—while ensuring a clean, safe, and professional work environment. Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of Proven experience as a commercial or residential painter, preferably in a hotel or facilities setting.
Valid state driver’s license required.
Proficiency in English (written & Verbal)
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, particularly in handling specialized surfaces or finishes.
Familiarity with reading and interpreting safety rules, maintenance manuals, and equipment instructions.
Comfort working with computers and Windows-based software systems.
Safely operate, clean, and maintain a range of painting tools and equipment, including brushes, rollers, sprayers, and pumps.
Ability to work flexible schedules including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and remain outdoors for extended periods as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Perform skilled painting tasks including preparation, mixing, color matching, priming, sealing, sanding, and finishing of walls, furniture, doors, fixtures, and surfaces using various finishes like lacquer, enamel, epoxy, and heat-resistant coatings.
Apply drywall texture, acoustic finishes, wallpaper, and touch-up paint to maintain consistent aesthetics throughout the hotel.
Patch, tape, and repair drywall and other surfaces to ensure all work areas meet visual and safety standards.
Safely operate, clean, and maintain a range of painting tools and equipment, including brushes, rollers, sprayers, and pumps.
Accurately label, store, and manage paint and supply inventory in compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance service calls, guest requests, and urgent painting needs across hotel facilities.
