Engineering Specialist - Contractor Oversight

About The Position

The Engineering Specialist – Contractor Oversight will provide support and clerical expertise to Property Operations & the Maintenance Department and responds to inquires and problems in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons' policies. Oversight of all Opex contracts/vendors to ensure that standards are met, and all work is scheduled, completed, and documented.

Requirements

One full year of employment in a related position with Four Seasons or other organization.
Minimum of one year experience working with contractors / vendors to ensure all required documents are recorded.
Proven experience overseeing contractors in a commercial, hospitality, or similar environment.
Strong understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate outside contractors for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, Marble and Metal Polishing, Hood Cleaning, and other technical projects.
Inspect and ensure the quality of contracted work complies with local codes, company standards, and project specifications.
Assist the Director of Engineering and Property Operations & Maintenance • Manager with purchase order system.
Maintain detailed documentation of contractor activities and project milestones.
Ensure all contractor personnel comply with site safety rules and operational protocols.
Update PM and repair work order status in HotSos, or other CPM database
Handle the calendars for the Director of Engineering, Assistant Director of Engineering, and Engineering Manager for appointments with contractors and vendors.
