Engineering Team Coordinate engineering workload based on DTD requirements for new model, current production updates, and future model engineering requirements from Stamping Engineering. This will include but not limited to the following areas of involvement and responsibility: Managing hourly workers to facilitate the collection and preparation scanned and CMM reports. These reports will require some interpretation and reliance on your experience to develop a quality plan. Develop a prioritized and efficient schedule, developing the delivery of your engineering plan with the coordination of the STS and DTD Operational Teams. Facilitate the updating of the A3 documents with support from the Operational DTD Team. Quality Loop Progression of new model dies Assess panel quality through CMM and Scan data to meet nominal (or BCE requirement) Collaborate with STS and BCE to validate “must fix” requirements from panel data Develop work plan with Engineering team for necessary tooling changes Document Q-loop progression for communication to Stamping Launch team and New Model programs Inspection Team Schedule priorities for quality team for data collection in CMM and Scan Box Validate programs contain requirements for Q-Loop progression at FPG and subsequent NPGs Buyoff on checking fixtures from design and construction Point of contact for Hexagon for CMM maintenance, equipment certification requirements, and training updates Scan & Laser Team SSchedule priorities for teams to ensure process flow for other departments and outside stamping plants Scanning for weld, KBU and machine validation Laser for flat sheet cuts for die construction and panels for die tryout Coordinate maintenance with PE department to maintain the laser cell Point of contact for Zeiss for annual maintenance, equipment certification and repairs for scan equipment including Scan Box

Requirements

  • Expert level steel and Aluminum forming knowledge and experience
  • Catia, Autoform and CMM knowledge and proficiency

  • Demonstratable leadership skills and execution performance lead a small team to provide high performance results in a very short time

Responsibilities
