About The Position

Join a team supporting multiple high-impact programs focused on launching advanced hardware and satellite-enabled connectivity solutions. This role centers on the customer terminal portion of the product line—rooftop devices enabling satellite communication, similar to other leading satellite internet technologies. You’ll be a key stakeholder in the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, ensuring product development phases are well-defined and organized. You’ll work closely with engineering, operations, and third-party suppliers to manage materials and build planning.

Requirements

  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools (Agile, Windchill)
  • BOM creation and management, especially for consumer electronics, aerospace, or hardware
  • System/device build planning and cross-functional collaboration
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
  • Hardware configuration experience
  • Experience in consumer electronics, aerospace, or hardware environments
  • Background in device building or bill matrices for prototype variations
  • 4-6+ years of experience in the above areas
  • Must be a U.S. person (citizen or permanent resident)
  • Ability to work on-site during core business hours (Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week)
  • Occasional evening collaboration with suppliers in Asia may be required
  • Responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open, collaborative environment

Responsibilities

  • Support different programs with BOM management in PLM tools (Agile, Windchill)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Operations, and suppliers
  • Create and structure Bill of Materials (BOMs) for new hardware builds and prototype variations
  • Write and track Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) in PLM systems
  • Manage BOM changes and part number creation
  • Communicate new part numbers to internal teams and contract manufacturers
  • Support device build planning, hardware configuration, and prototype builds
  • Partner with product development teams and suppliers on BOM/material management
